Sgt. Steve Adams

Meet Sgt. Steve Adams or better known by the youth of Mayes County as "Officer Adams". Steve joined forces with the Pryor Police Department in 1986 and has worked his way through the ranks to Sergeant. Steve has worked patrol all of his years with the department - but has been most recognized in his role as a "DARE" (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Officer. Steve's newest assignment is the School Resource Officer. This job requires Steve to be in the school system every day working with both teachers and students. His office is located at the Pryor Jr. High School. Teachers and students alike will attest that Steve is one of most personable officers on the force. Steve is married to Cheryl, and they have one daughter Averi who is in the 5th grade. Steve also has one older daughter Amanda and son-in-law Steve and grandson Steven of Muskogee. Steve is a member of the First Baptist Church of Pryor and he enjoys coaching softball and basketball with Averi. Click here to read more about Sgt. Steve Adams.
